Inscribed: In Hebrew with lines of the V'ahavta [Deuteronomy 6:5-9], the first portion of the prayer and in English "Hear Israel the Lord is our G-D, the Lord is one". Considered the most important prayer in Judaism, it is both an affirmation of faith and a declaration of belief in one G-d. The entire Shema (or sh'ma) consists of the daily prayers that commences with Shema Yisrael and comprises Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 11:13-21, and Numbers 15:37-41.

The mobius is our signature shape and we were one of the first jewelers to deduce how to reproduce it via the lost wax casting method. Named after the German mathematician August Ferdinand Möbius [1790-1868], the mobius represents the seeming paradox of a plane without end or one of infinite length. As such, it became accepted as a symbol for infinity. The oval mobius bracelets fit comfortably, turning easily on the wrist, so that the wearer can be reminded of the message at a glance. The single mobius necklace moves on the chain when worn, changing its appearance continually, while the message remains constant. Our new double mobius necklace with its flowing, complex shape is an exciting addition to the collection, allowing for a longer message than the single mobius. The engraved message on these pieces repeats around the plane into infinity.

Note: Please notify us prior to any return to prevent unnecessary delays and/or additional shipping charges. 

Returns/Exchanges of Non-personalized Items: If there is a quality issue with your order, you may return it in new condition and in its original packaging for a prompt exchange or a full refund. Please contact Customer Service to receive return/exchange instructions. You have 30 days from received tracking date to return your items. 

Returns/Exchanges of Personalized Items: Understandably, personalized items cannot be accepted for return, unless there is a manufacturing error, product defect, or it has a personalization error.

In the unfortunate event that an order is cancelled after an item has been personalized but before item has been shipped or delivered, the customer will be charged for the item less a courtesy discount.

Returns & Exchanges of Damaged/Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery to set up a return or exchange. We will replace the item ASAP or set up a return for you. Tender Essentials reserves the right to replace a damaged/defective item and have the damaged/defective item returned to Tender Essentials or our vendor for inspection, at the cost of Tender Essentials. Please supply photos of the damaged or defective product and email to support@tenderessentials.com so that we may verify your claim--thank you for your kind understanding.

Restocking and Shipping Fees: Returns/Exchanges of non-damaged or non-personalized items may incur a 10-15% restocking fee that is charged to us by our suppliers. All precious metal rings can only be returned within 45 days in new condition. All precious metal rings returned will incur a 20% fee. All precious metal ring returns must be approved before being sent in; please contact us first. Any precious metal rings sent to us will be sent back if not approved. Please adhere to all safety instructions and insure your ring when you send it back for any reason. We do not cover any loss or damages during shipment, as we have no control over the ring until it is received. Please note that any Customs Taxes accrued through shipping are the sole responsibility of the recipient. There is a 20% warranty fee for precious metal rings exchanged after 45 days.Shipping charges are not refundable. Proof charges are non refundable. Customer is responsible for all return packing/shipping charges and must insure item for the full purchase price. In the event that your order qualified for free shipping at the time of purchase, actual shipping charges incurred by Tender Essentials will be deducted from the purchase price credit.

Orders cancelled after items ship but before items are delivered: Customer will not be credited our actual shipping costs or return costs even if the order qualified for "free shipping" at time of purchase.

  • The product must not be handmade
  • The product must not be handblown glass
  • The product must be unused and in resaleable condition

Ring Sizing Information: Comfort Fit vs. Standard Fit

Alternative metal rings are made with "comfort fit" sizing. This means that the inside of the ring is rounded, which helps it slide over your knuckle easier. The inside diameter of the ring gets bigger as you get closer to the edge of the ring. In contrast, standard fit rings are flat on the inside of the ring, which means the inside diameter is the same as you move along from one edge to the other. Because of this difference, comfort fit rings tend to fit looser than standard fit rings of the same size. As a general rule of thumb, when purchasing a comfort fit ring, you should choose a size that is about a half size smaller than your standard fit ring size. Different jewelers have tools to measure ring size, but they may vary slightly, which can cause different jewelers to measure your finger at slightly different sizes. The width of a ring can affect sizing. Generally, a ring 10 mm or wider can feel tight and you may be just fine staying at the same size as your standard ring size. Because sizing can vary, please keep in mind that there will be slight variances of +/- 0.25 mm.
